Reading Housing Authority, Reading PA
Sprinkler and fire pump retrofit for five high-rise units varying from 8-15 stories and totaling 582 units (total of 600,000 SF). Each new sprinkler system consists of a diesel fire pump with controls and fuel storage tanks, floor control valve assemblies, grooved steel pipe with mechanical fittings and couplings and sprinkler heads. Existing standpipe systems were incorporated into the design of the new systems where applicable.
